Permit timing

Fall 2026 Uptown permits went on sale July 15 at 9 a.m. Spring 2027 sales open December 1, and Summer 2027 sales open April 1. A student must be enrolled for the semester being purchased, except for summer.

Availability

As of August 10, 2026, UC marked every listed Uptown West garage and lot sold out. Uptown East medical-campus facilities were still listed without a sold-out marker, and the $91 Victory Parkway remote option was limited and first come, first served. A student without an assignment should plan around transit rather than arriving with a car.

Overnight parking

A standard assigned-garage permit can be used 24 hours a day when entries and exits are used in sequence. If the car will sit unattended for more than 72 hours, the driver must notify Parking Services; an unpermitted vehicle left that long may be treated as abandoned and towed.

Break-period parking

A combined Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 permit remains active across winter break, but it is not permission to leave a car without notice. Before leaving the vehicle unattended for more than 72 hours, the driver must notify Parking Services; campus shuttles also pause during academic breaks and official holidays.
