Can freshmen have cars at Boston University?
BU does not issue parking permits to first-year undergraduates. A privately arranged off-campus space would be separate from the university and subject to Boston or property rules.
How much is resident student parking at Boston University?
First-year students cannot buy it. For eligible returning residents, the current Campus Resident page lists $1,350 for fall, $1,425 for spring, and $1,125 for summer.
Can BU commuter permits be used overnight?
No. Student Commuter parking is daytime and evening access only; overnight parking requires a Campus Resident permit.
